Whether you’re Irish or not, St. Patrick’s Day is another lovely excuse to get out and have a good time. There’s drinking, block parties, specials, festivities, costumes, dancing and so much more going on.
Make sure you’re wearing green on Friday, March 17. St. Patrick’s revelers thought wearing green made one invisible to leprechauns, fairy creatures who would pinch anyone they could see (anyone not wearing green). People began pinching those who didn’t wear green as a reminder that leprechauns would sneak up and pinch green-abstainers.
Those sneaky leprechauns!
So, what is there to do this St. Patricks day weekend in Phoenix and around the valley you ask? Well, I’m glad you asked. Let’s take a look!
